ECIFF is proud to present ‘Adnan’ in honour of their chosen charity CHOOSE LOVE. Directed by Steven Chatterton and Mark Arrigo, ‘Adnan’ is the story of an imaginative ten year old Syrian refugee boy who has had to flee his home country with his mother after the rest of their family were killed and their neighbourhood destroyed. ‘Adnan’ depicts life after atrocity and explores connection through storytelling, whilst simultaneously depicting the collective trauma of displaced people.

A portion of ticket sales is going to the charity ‘Choose Love’

CHOOSE LOVE elevates the voices and visibility of refugees and displaced people in order to galvanise funds to provide refugees and displaced people with whatever they need, from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice. ECIFF is honoured to be screening ‘Adnan’ for Choose Love and to be supporting a cause which has always been, and will always be incredibly important. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with Steven, Mark and Raghad Chaar about the process of creating such an important short film.
