This year, The Mayor’s Community Christmas Carol Service for Glass Door Homeless Charity will be taking place on Wednesday 15 December in the magnificent St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington Church Street, W8 4LA.

The Carol Service will be a celebration of community life in Kensington and Chelsea. Join us for an evening of Christmas carols and readings from special guests, including Anthea Turner and Hugh Pym all while raising money for the Mayoral Charity, Glass Door.

Following the Carol Service, the festive cheer will continue at a Reception in the Mayor’s Parlour where refreshments will be served.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Glass Door. Glass Door is based in the heart of Chelsea and co-ordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access shelter and support services for people affected by homelessness. Glass Door are committed to helping people to get – and stay – off the street through an offering that combines emergency winter shelters and year-round access to support from caseworkers who provide their guests with support to move beyond homelessness.
