Director and co-adaptor Marianne Badrichani is an international director, producer, theatre maker and one of the six associate artists at Bold Theatre. Based in London since 2000, she specialises in new writing (West-End, Off West End & fringe) with a particular focus on French playwrights and site specific performances in nontheatrical venues. Theatre credits include: The Foreigners’ Panto (Bold Theatre), Molière, je t’aime moi non plus (London, Scotland, Paris), Sacha Guitry, ma fille et moi, Ionesco/Dinner at the Smiths (London, Paris), Three Splits (Coronet Theatre, Nine Theatre in Beijing), Square Bubble (National Theatre/Watch this Space) Adaptation credits include: A Season in the Congo (Young Vic, direction Joe Wright), La Peau de Chagrin (Holland Park), Blue Beard (Brompton Cemetery) Marianne is part of the Cross Channel Theatre Group, a committee launched by the French Institute to bring the best of French theatre to the UK. In 2024, she was awarded the insignia of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters.
